The second part of Stoji, stoji tam Blejski grad completes the new permanent exhibition at Bled Castle, bringing its thousand-year history to life through a series of carefully designed museum environments. The project required the fabrication and installation of custom exhibition furniture, display cases, structural and graphic elements, integrated lighting, and didactic solutions across several historic castle spaces. Each element was individually adapted to the architecture, exhibition content, and specific requirements of the objects on display. A key challenge was combining contemporary fabrication techniques with the character and limitations of a historic building. Precision, functionality, material selection, and attention to detail were essential throughout the production and on-site installation. The result is a cohesive museum environment in which custom-made exhibition elements become part of the architecture and allow the history of Bled Castle to unfold naturally through the space.
